    As has been said, the information in this document is presented in love and in the fear of God. In no way do we despise, hate, wish to insult, or persecute the people involved in these cults in any way. On the contrary—to love you is to tell you the truth. To withhold the information and truth presented would be wrong and would not be love. To hide this information and allow people to perish for eternity is not love. We hope the information provided will cause at least some to seek the One and only God through His Word (the Bible) in humility, putting aside all preconceived ideas and fears.     It has been said, "Error rides into the church on the back of truth." We might relate it to receiving a nice email with an undetected virus attached. Multitudes have died unsaved, believing deception and lies that they thought were true, because they were intermixed with truth. There is nothing so tragic and far-reaching as a false way of salvation, and all the cults fit into this category.
    Though estimates vary, the number of cults in the world today appear to number into the thousands.
    Estimates of those today claiming to be Jesus Christ, the Christ, or a prophet of God are said to be 25,000 or more. Many also claim to be Elijah the prophet or other biblical figures.
    Many of these cults use the same language born-again Christians might use; however, what they mean is very different from what the Bible teaches. They deceive the unsaved, the lukewarm Christian, as well as the unsuspecting. Jesus warned that in this generation many would be deceived.
    Some people in this last generation have turned from Jesus Christ and now follow cults, as it is written, 1 Tim 4:1-NOW THE SPIRIT SPEAKETH EXPRESSLY, THAT IN THE LATTER TIMES (which is now) SOME SHALL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEED TO SEDUCING SPIRITS, AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS…
     When God opens a person’s understanding and they realize they are in a cult, they are commanded to come out. Some hear the voice of Satan saying to stay in the cult and try to rescue others. It is written, 2 Cor 6:16-17-AND WHAT AGREEMENT HATH THE TEMPLE OF GOD WITH IDOLS? FOR YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD; AS GOD HATH SAID, I WILL DWELL IN THEM, AND WALK IN THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. WHEREFORE COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE, SAITH THE LORD, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU. Rev 18:4-AND I HEARD ANOTHER VOICE FROM HEAVEN, SAYING, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, THAT YE BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS, AND THAT YE RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES. The Bible gives severe warnings regarding listening to and allowing cults into your home and wishing him God speed. One such Scripture is 2 Jn 1:10-11-IF THERE COME ANY UNTO YOU, AND BRING NOT THIS DOCTRINE (that is walking after His commandments, confessing that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, and the doctrine of Christ), RECEIVE HIM NOT INTO YOUR HOUSE, NEITHER BID HIM GOD SPEED: FOR HE THAT BIDDETH HIM GOD SPEED IS PARTAKER OF HIS EVIL DEEDS. Many that have disobeyed these commands have fallen back into darkness. They opened a door to Satan to deceive them again by disobeying God’s Word.
     During the Tribulation, so many people will come to Christ that they cannot be numbered-ref Rev 7:9-15; however, death by decapitation lies ahead for most. Expect that many will come out of every cult. It is written Rev 7:9,14-I BEHELD, AND, LO, A GREAT MULTITUDE, WHICH NO MAN COULD NUMBER, OF ALL NATIONS, AND KINDREDS, AND PEOPLE, AND TONGUES, STOOD BEFORE THE THRONE, AND BEFORE THE LAMB, CLOTHED WITH WHITE ROBES, AND PALMS IN THEIR HANDS; THESE ARE THEY WHICH CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, AND HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
    The information presented regarding the various cults and countries—regarding their doctrines, beliefs, and origins, etc., is to the best of our knowledge. It is limited because of space.      In many cases, the founders of these cults claimed that God, or an angel, or some biblical figure, or aliens, or something else appeared to them (either in person or in a dream, vision, or in thought). In some cases, these appearances may have occurred over a period of time. After some figure, or vision, or some thought came to them or impressed upon them something, some then claim to be something special, or have a special revelation. Afterward, these founders may claim to be a prophet, an apostle, or someone having a special revelation or some new unique knowledge, etc. In nearly every case, it was to in some way discredit, take away from, reinterpret, or add to the Bible. Cults try to circumvent God’s Word with something else. It is the same old lie from the beginning repeated over and over in different forms. The Serpent, who was more subtil (or crafty), appeared to Eve to cause her to doubt God’s Word; as it is written, HATH GOD SAID?-ref Gen 3:1. Then he told her YE SHALL BE AS GODS-Gen 3:5.
     Blasphemous doctrines have emerged—all of which have one purpose—to lead people into error regarding what the Bible says. The ONE GOD manifested in three, eternally existing Persons (the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) is redefined, discredited, or said to be wrong. In some, God the Father is redefined or said not to even exist. In some, Jesus Christ, Who is come in the flesh, Who created all things, Who is from everlasting to everlasting and now sits at the right hand of God the Father is redefined or said not to even exist. In some, the Holy Spirit is redefined, likened unto a force, or said not to even exist-ref Jn 14:17. In nearly all, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from all works, as one’s only hope of salvation is eliminated, changed, or added to. Some do not acknowledge the existence of Satan.. Others say, there is no hell, or it is redefined, or there is a replacement for hell. Doctrines like purgatory are taught along with other ways to get to God. The list goes on and on.
     What a horrible time it will be as billions throughout eternity find that their religious cult or own misguided ideas of salvation lead them to the hell most didn’t believe in, the Great White Throne Judgment, and then to the lake of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for time without end!

    AFRICA (General information) The African Christian church overall is not in good shape. Despite many good missionaries and well-known evangelists, most Bible schools and churches have little sound doctrine and Bible teaching. It is not uncommon to find the preacher may not even have a Bible. There is little knowledge or understanding of Bible prophecy, the Revelation, Daniel, etc. When asked what they know about Jesus, many in the congregation have little they can answer, yet love to sing and sing. Cults abound, as well as ancestral worship and witchcraft, etc. Many Christian preachers have been seduced and fallen by the wayside by false teachers and Bible schools luring them in with promises of prosperity—church buildings, finances, food, clothing, positions of authority, etc. It is not uncommon for ministers in Africa to pretend they are a born-again in order to get gifts from American missionaries. It is not uncommon for people that have surrendered to Jesus, to later be misled by peer pressure from unsaved overseers in their denomination. Peer pressure can also come from ungodly tribal chiefs. There are few indeed that continue in Christ to the end and are able to resist the many devices and temptations that Satan throws at them. A missionary may be successful in leading many to Christ with good, sound Bible teaching, but when he leaves, the new converts begin to listen to and partake of other teachers, seminars, etc. The sound teaching they had is diluted and begins to fade away. They fall into lukewarmness and some begin seeking for worldly things. "Self" again comes to the forefront—self increases and Christ decreases more and more. Darkness sets in and the darkness blinds their eyes to their true condition. They believe they are still following Christ but are deceived.
     The marriages in many parts of Africa are no marriages at all. It has been estimated that 80% of African marriages are not marriages at all. They are nothing more than ungodly tribal traditions or living together with the parent’s consent. It varies from country to country, and tribe to tribe. Unrealistic dowries are often demanded by ungodly parents. Additional dowries may also be demanded by some parents after children are born. Certain relatives may be involved in the marriage (like an uncle, etc.). Some have many wives, yet claim to be a Christian. We thank God for those that are truly born-again and do not conform to lukewarmness, pressure, and threats.
    AGNOSTIC  One who believes that there can be no proof of the existence of God but does not deny the possibility. A belief that God cannot be known.

    ARMSTRONGISM  (Worldwide Church of God) (and The Plain Truth Magazine). Herbert W. Armstrong’s radio ministry began about 1934. His son, Ted, later took over. They skillfully combine some biblical truth mixed with error and falsehood, leading many people astray. The Bible terminology that this religion uses makes it sound like a true Christian religion. It is a cult. It does not believe in the Trinity as the Bible teaches. Does not believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. Does believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, but not as the Bible teaches. Baptism is necessary for salvation. Sickness is the result of sin. Appears to believe gentiles must keep the Old Testament Jewish feasts as well as the Sabbath (Saturday). They seem to ignore the teachings in the New Testament that we are not bound by these-ref Col 2:14-17,20.
     Does not believe in eternal punishment in the lake of fire. Believes their church is the only source of salvation in the world. Teaches salvation by works. Believes it is possible to eventually become God, a concept also taught by some other religious cults. Appears to believe that Great Britain is Ephraim and that the United States is Manasseh. Seems to follow aspects of British-Israelism. Seems to believe that the Britain and the US are the two lost tribes of Israel. In recent years, there was a split within the organization. Reportedly, a new group emerged that has turned from the false doctrine of Armstrongism and now adheres to the true fundamentals of the Bible, though they continue to be called the Worldwide Church of God.

ASTROLOGY (and horoscopes) The Bible warns us regarding the practice of astrology and following horoscopes and of even seeking it. It is a form of idolatry and iniquity. It is denying the Lord.     Regretfully, many that claim to be a Christian practice this abomination. They shall surely perish unless they repent.

     The practice of astrology is called by God as wickedness. It is the same as serving other gods. It is called by God as an abomination. The penalty for any man or woman that does such things is death by stoning.     BLACK MUSLIM  This movement goes back to around 1925. One of its members was Malcolm X.  An aggressive movement, at times using violence and instigating riots. It is against Christianity, as it incorrectly believes Christianity is a white man’s religion. It seems to exist mainly in the USA. Elijah Muhammad, its leader for a long time, taught the black man originally lived on the moon 66 trillion years ago. Afterward, the black man settled in what is now Mecca. They believe Allah is black and that heaven and hell are conditions on this earth right now. It has little resemblance to orthodox Islam and orthodox Muslims do not recognize the movement in any way.     BUDDHISM  Buddhism arose about 1400 years ago. Buddha is not a God, but rather an example. It may be said that this religion is to overcome ignorance and acknowledge hurts and unhappiness, which comes from desires. The way to escape our desires and thus stop hurts, unhappiness, and reincarnation is the Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism. This religion may be said to be a search within oneself for enlightenment, to have a mind that is clear, to truly understand self and motives, to cease craving, and attain inner self-denial. The aim is to extinguish self or attain Nirvana as the extinguishing of a flame. They follow 5 rules. It neither accepts or denies the existence of God. Sin is not an issue. There are different sects of this cult, which is said to have 500 million followers.

    CHRISTIAN FAMILY FELLOWSHIP  This organization also denies the deity of Jesus and believes Him to be a created being. They also deny the doctrine of the Trinity. Neither do they believe that the Holy Spirit is God. They do not believe in a literal hell.
    CHRISTIAN IDENTITY MOVEMENT  (Anglo-Israelism). A white racist organization that dates back to the nineteenth century. It is against the Jews and Blacks.
    CHRISTIAN SCIENCE  (First Church of Christ, Scientist—Boston). They follow the teaching of Mary Baker Eddy, who died in the early 20th century, and generally read only small portions of the Bible. It is neither Christian nor a science. It is as different from the Bible as night and day. They believe in God, but not the God of the Bible. God is both father, mother, and mind. They certainly do not believe that Jesus is God come in the flesh, but was only a man and did not rise from the dead. He was not the Christ or deity, but only a good teacher. This religion denies the blood atonement. They do not believe in the Trinity as written in the Bible. They do not believe in the Holy Spirit as the Scriptures teach. They do not believe that death, disease, and sin are real. Man is sinless and perfect, and death an illusion. They do not believe that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross could pay the sin debt. The shedding of His blood meant nothing. They do not teach people to repent or to be concerned about their salvation. They do not believe in Satan or hell as a literal place—only as a state of mind.
    CHRISTODELPHIANISM  (Founded by John Thomas in the mid 19th century). This religion denies the deity of Christ and teaches that Christ had a fallen nature. It denies the deity of the Holy Spirit. It also denies the doctrine of the Trinity. As with many cults, it denies the existence of Satan and hell. They do not believe Eph 2:8-FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. Reportedly, there are disagreements within the organization.

    CHURCH OF CHRIST  (Boston Church of Christ, Crossroads Movement, Discipling Movement, International Church of Christ). (Began about 1985). Not considered a cult by some, yet the information we have is they do not believe in the millennial reign, the 144,000 male virgin Jews being saved as outlined in the Revelation, the future reign of Jesus on the earth, and much of the latter day theology presented in the Gospel. They appear to believe that they are the only true church. They also appear to believe in baptismal regeneration and do not accept any baptism done outside of the Boston Church of Christ. On the surface, this can sound very biblical to one not well-grounded in the Scriptures or not well-informed. They skillfully combine biblical truth mixed with error and falsehood, leading people astray.

    3-Evolution makes both God and the Bible a liar.
    4-It degrades mankind from being created in the image of God-ref Gen 1:27 and relegates him to an ancestry of apes and monkeys.

    9-It denies the atonement. For according to evolution, there was no fall of man—therefore, no sin for which to make atonement.
  10-It denies the second advent of Christ and the final restoration and preservation of all things by the personal acts of God.
  11-It does away with the authority of the Bible as a real revelation from a personal and living God; making it a lie, not only regarding creation but every other doctrine as well.
    Interestingly, in the last church age (that of the Laodiceans), evolution has become a stumblingblock. Thus, it is written, Rev 3:14-AND UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE CHURCH OF THE LAODICEANS WRITE; THESE THINGS SAITH THE AMEN (which is Jesus), THE FAITHFUL AND TRUE WITNESS (which is Jesus), THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD. Jesus is speaking expressly to His church, today’s church, telling them that He is the beginning of the creation of God. In other words, evolution is a lie, the creation is the truth. He that has ears to hear, let him hear. Rev 3:22-HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH UNTO THE CHURCHES.
    It is the law of nature that nothing reproduces anything greater than itself. It has been said, that in actuality, when taken to its origins, evolutionists believe that nothing working on nothing by nothing through nothing for nothing begat everything.

     Most people cannot get their prayers answered. They are often involved in things that are detestable to God. How can God turn His ear to those that are engaged in things that are an abomination; in things that God has warned us against? If you turn to astrology, even look at such things in the newspapers, even mention such things as horoscopes; this is an abomination to the Lord. God has destroyed whole nations for such sins. The penalty for such things in God’s Law was death.
     NEITHER SHALL YE USE ENCHANTMENT, NOR OBSERVE TIMES-Lev 19:26. DO NOT TURN TO MEDIUMS OR SEEK OUT SPIRITISTS, FOR YOU WILL BE DEFILED BY THEM. I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD-Lev 19:31 (NIV).
    God gives a very strict warning, saying, THE SOUL THAT TURNETH AFTER SUCH AS HAVE FAMILIAR SPIRITS (mediums), AND AFTER WIZARDS (spiritists), TO GO A WHORING AFTER THEM (to prostitute himself by following them), I WILL EVEN SET MY FACE AGAINST THAT SOUL, AND WILL CUT HIM OFF FROM AMONG HIS PEOPLE-Lev 20:6.
    If you call yourself a Christian, yet do these things which are of Satan, you will soon have a surprise coming when you stand in front of your Creator at judgment.     HINDUISM   Originally a combination of Greek gods combined with Indian meditations. Indian society uses a caste system. Hindu priests are sometimes sought to determine important dates in a person’s life, such as the exact day one should build their house, weddings, etc. There are a countless number of idols, or as they might say, "holy objects." Some are quite grotesque looking and are found in vehicles, homes, businesses, temples, etc. Animals are exalted. It has been said that a notable Hindu once ate some beef and afterward was tormented, as he could hear the cow mooing inside his belly. The Scriptures warn against idols, as it is written-Ro 1:23-AND CHANGED THE GLORY OF THE UNCORRUPTIBLE GOD INTO AN IMAGE MADE LIKE TO CORRUPTIBLE MAN, AND TO BIRDS, AND FOURFOOTED BEASTS, AND CREEPING THINGS.      The Ganges River is believed to be holy, attracting multitudes that come to bathe in its waters. Hinduism believes in reincarnation. To escape from being reincarnated is the ultimate aim. There are several ways to reach this ultimate aim. To seek love and money is acceptable.
    In Indian society, a dowry is often paid by a girl’s parents so she can marry. This teaches a concept contrary to that of the Bible where Jesus paid for His bride (the Church).
    Hindus may accept Christ as another one of their gods, but to accept Him as He really is and put away their many false beliefs is much more difficult. When a person does come to Christ, they often face much persecution from other Hindus and may even be threatened with death. In India, a true born-again Christian may lose certain government benefits. In many churches, they sing and sing and sing, yet have little knowledge or understanding of Bible prophecy, the Revelation, Daniel, etc. Although there are quite a few churches in India, it has been estimated by a well-known, born-again preacher that the number of truly born-again Christians in India is only about 1 person per every 10,000. We thank God for those that are truly born-again and do not conform to lukewarmness, pressure, and threats.

    ISLAM   Their beliefs are far removed from Christianity. Approximately 1300 years ago, Muhammad (or Mohammed) was born in Mecca. Islam believes that he is the last of the prophets, which include Abraham, Moses and even Jesus. Islam believes that the Koran was given to Muhammad over a period of time by the angel Gabriel.) They believe the Koran (or Quran) is God’s Word and supersedes all previous revelations, including the Bible. One hundred and fourteen chapters or Suras are contained in the Koran. Islam accepts the law of Moses, the Psalms as well as the Gospels, but believe the Bible is badly flawed. Allah is the word they use for God. They believe there is no God except Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet. Allah is worshiped, not Muhammad. Allah is considered to be an impersonal being, far above all men, impossible to approach, to know, or to understand. Their worship is centered in the Five Pillars. Salvation for them is through what they do and their attitude being in line with the Koran. It is their individual responsibility. They do not follow the Holy Bible. They do not believe in ONE GOD, eternally existing in three persons—the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the Trinity for them appears to be an abomination. Islam does not believe in the divinity of Christ, or that Christ is come in the flesh-ref 1 Jn 4:2,3; 2 Jn 7. They believe Jesus was only a messenger of God, not the Son of God. They do not believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins or rose from the dead. It is reported that many believe that Judas died in his place.
    They seem to have no understanding of what it means to be "born-again." They seldom have any understanding of the difference between a true born-again Christian and those that merely claim to be Christian. Islam does not comprehend having a personal relationship with the loving, compassionate, and merciful God of the Bible. While a true born-again Christian loves even their enemies, Islam does not.
    In Arab countries, women usually hold a very low position and are looked down on, regarded as those that tempt men to sin. Islam permits up to 4 wives.
    Islam now is the major religion of the Arab countries and has also made inroads in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, and even the United States.
    Those that do not follow Islam are considered infidels. Sometimes those that practice Islam in another group, sect, or faction would also be considered an infidel. It is written in Surah 47:4-When you meet (in El Jihad), those who disbelieve, smite at their necks till you have killed and wounded many of them. Surah 9:5-Kill the idolaters wheresoever ye shall find them. Note the difference in the Bible-Mt 5:44, ref Lk 6:27,28-BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, BLESS THEM THAT CURSE YOU, DO GOOD TO THEM THAT HATE YOU, AND PRAY FOR THEM WHICH DESPITEFULLY USE YOU, AND PERSECUTE YOU. Allah commands death to those that do not convert to Islam, but the God of heaven said through Jesus, His only begotten Son-Lk 9:56-FOR THE SON OF MAN IS NOT COME TO DESTROY MEN'S LIVES, BUT TO SAVE THEM.
    Their goal is world domination through Islam, by whatever means is necessary, and thus have a moral order everywhere. The question arises, is there peace when Islam takes over? The answer is no. There is still killing, terror, and violence. There are various factions within Islam. Their beliefs differ in some areas, especially politically. Some of its extremists can be extremely militant and violent. As a result, there has been war and not peace between various Islamic groups. Even within Islamic nations, there are sometimes tribal wars. These sometimes war against each other, as one faction may not consider the other to follow true Islam. Example, in Pakistan, app. Feb 15, 2003, at least three gunmen, presumed Sunni Muslim extremists, killed 9 Shiites and injured many more as they were performing evening prayers. One was a 7 year old boy. It is reported that the rivalry between the two groups dates back to the 7th century when there was a disagreement over who was to be the heir to Islam’s prophet Muhammad. The Sunni Muslims consider the Shiites as non-Muslims. Some force their religious beliefs on people through violence—giving a choice to convert to their religion or die. Once Islam takes over, religious freedom can be expected to disappear. No religious freedom exists in most countries that practice this religion. However, as noted, violence may still exist.
    On the mission field, some born-again missionaries have been attacked by followers of Islam. Islamic followers have been responsible for killing many Christian missionaries.
In the Far East, the Moslems and Hindus are bitter rivals and each have killed many of the others. Though because of their mutual hatred for Christians. They may momentarily set aside their differences and join forces against Christians.
    While some nominal Christians are converting to Islam, some people that follow Islam are converting to the loving Christ as their Lord and Saviour. If a Moslem can set aside the lies that they have heard from those that say they have read the Bible, and approach the Bible with an open mind and honest heart, and read it all, incredible things can happen. They may be astonished to learn that they can know God and have a personal relationship with Him.
    They believe once a nation is under Islam, it must always be so. Thus, they believe the land of Israel, which was once under Islamic rule must revert back. The Jews must be killed, driven out, or convert to Islam. Yet it is also a fact that many Moslems living in Israel have a far better life than Moslems living in Arab countries. They do live in peace with Israel and prosper.
    Should you find a peace-loving Moslem, ask him these questions. Do you love the Jews? Would you support them and help them? Do you believe they have a right to exist? Do you recognize and believe that the nation of Israel has a right to exist in the land they now have? Do you believe they are God’s covenant people and descended from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?
    Are there any peace loving Moslems? The answer is yes, and some have turned to the Jesus Christ of the Bible as their only hope of salvation. The Koran does not offer answers for many things, but God’s Word does. During the coming Tribulation, many that practice Islam will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ—Glory to God. Note Rev 7:9-17.
    For the Moslem that really wants truth, this is our recommendation: get into the Bible and read the Gospel of John three times, about 5 or more chapters a day. Then begin with Matthew and read through the entire New Testament including the Revelation. Humble yourself and put away the preconceived thoughts that you may have.
    ARAB  (defined by Webster’s and the American Heritage dictionaries):  A person born or living in the Arabian Peninsula. A member of a people that speaks Arabic. Of or relating to the Arabs: Arabian. A member of a Semitic people of Arabia whose language and Islamic religion spread widely throughout the Middle East and N Africa from the 7th century.
    ARABIA (defined by Webster’s and the American Heritage dictionaries): A peninsula of SW Asia between the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.
    ARABIAN SEA (defined by Webster’s and the American Heritage dictionaries): The NW part of the Indian Ocean between Arabia and western India.
    ARABIC (defined by Webster’s and the American Heritage dictionaries): A language spoken in the Arabian Peninsula, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and parts of northern Africa. Of or relating to Arabia, the Arabs, their language, or their culture. The Semitic language of the Arabs, spoken in numerous dialects throughout much of the Middle East and parts of North Africa.
    ISLAM (defined by Webster’s and the American Heritage dictionaries): A religion based on belief in Allah as the only God, in Muhammad as his prophet, and in the Koran. A monotheistic religion marked by the profession of submission to God and to Muhammad as the chief and last prophet of God. The people or nations that practice Islam; the Muslim world.
    MUSLIM or MOSLEM (defined by Webster’s and the American Heritage dictionaries): A person whose religion is Islam.

    JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES (and The Watchtower Magazine). (Founded by Charles Russell in the latter part of the 19th century). He died in 1916. On the surface, this aggressive cult can sound very biblical. They skillfully combine some biblical truth mixed with error and falsehood, leading people astray. They believe that only Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting; however, He is not all knowledgeable and is not omnipresent. Regarding Jesus Christ, they believe He is a created being and is actually Michael the archangel that became a man. They do not believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, but only a force. They do not believe in the Trinity as presented in the Scriptures. They believe only the 144,000 are born-again and will be in heaven. People do not need to be born-again, as they will have everlasting life and live on the earth. They do not believe in a literal hell. They do not believe in the eternal lake of fire for the wicked. They believe all that reject their way will suffer destruction. To be saved, one must do their works. They do not vote, salute the flag, celebrate Christmas and other like things.
    Their understanding of prophecy and of the Revelation is very distorted.
    In recent times, some of their key people have left the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization and become born-again Christians.

    KARMA  This is not a religion, but a term used in Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. It may be said—the theory of cause and effect. To put it simply, a person’s future life is dependent upon how he has lived this life. In cults that believe in reincarnation, karma moves a person up or down in the next life. If a person believes in karma, but not reincarnation, then he will believe his eternal state will be determined according to what he does in this life. Karma, of course, is not a Bible doctrine. Its origin is in Eastern mysticism and is totally contrary to the Word of God. True salvation only comes by placing our trust in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, Who shed His blood on the cross to make atonement for our sins.     MORMONISM  (The Latter Day Saints).  (Follow the teachings of Joseph Smith.)  The doctrine of Mormonism is completely unscriptural and dates back to about 1830. They believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ physically appeared to Joseph Smith and told him that the churches were all wrong. The Book of Mormon was to be added to the Bible. In other words, Christianity was all lost.
    Supposedly, Joseph Smith stated that Elijah appeared personally to him on April 3, 1836, at Kirtland, Ohio, fulfilling Mal 4:5,6. They believe that Elijah also came in 1844.
    The Mormons reject the finality of the Bible. They both take away from and add to God’s Word. The Bible gives a severe warning about this in Rev 22:18,19. The Mormon Church is run by revelation. It is not committed to any fixed creed. It can be said it creates doctrine as time goes on.
    They use biblical terms, but their beliefs are far removed from true Christianity.
    Their book, the Doctrine of Covenants, speaks against having more than one wife in 101:4, 1835 edition. However, in 1887, Mormon Church historian listed 27 women that were married to Joseph Smith. This occurred during a time when such a thing was viewed as a crime before God. It is reported that Smith finally admitted it and changed the law of polygamy in 1843 (which showed up in 1876) and then the 1835 edition just disappeared. It is reported that some of his wives were still married to other men.
    Mormon leaders apparently believe that the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine of Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price do not contradict each other. This is far from the truth.
    Contrary to 1 Sam 15:29, Joseph Smith believed that God was once as we are, that Jehovah was the firstborn spirit child of Elohim. They believe He is not just Spirit and is not omnipresent. They believe we have to learn how to be gods ourselves.
    Jesus shedding His blood for our sins is apparently nonsense to them—the blood of Jesus could not make one clean by itself. Mormonism seems to believe that Christ and the devil are brothers, and Christ was married.
    They seem to believe the Holy Spirit is a substance or fluid and not omnipresent.
    They believe in baptismal regeneration. They believe baptism is the way to heaven and that the saints can be baptized for those that have passed away unbaptized.
    They believe there will be a resurrection of every living thing including animals and fish.
    All that are in glory are also gods. There are gods and other worlds. They also believe in heavenly marriages and in having spirit children. There is no burning hell. Punishment without end may last for a short time or a long time.
    They seem to believe that people will raise children after they leave earth. Their faith appears to be in Joseph Smith and changing revelations. It is certainly not in the God of the Bible. It is certainly not in Jesus Christ.

    Among all the cults, there are few that have changed over the years as much as this one. The Word of God never changes. For true born-again Christians, their beliefs and doctrine are the same today as in the times of Jesus, but not for the Roman Catholics. It is written Heb 13:8-9-JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TO DAY, AND FOR EVER. BE NOT CARRIED ABOUT WITH DIVERS AND STRANGE DOCTRINES. A person can talk with hundreds of Catholics including priests and find that most have never read their Bible cover to cover and seldom take their Bible to church. A person is saved by faith (or trust) in Jesus Christ. Faith can only come from God’s Word-ref Ro 10:17. A person’s faith cannot exceed their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. Little Bible, little faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God-ref Heb 11:6.
    All that practice sin shall perish. How is it that multitudes of priests molest children and yet continue in the church? Why are the priests that commit such abominable acts not thrown out? They are absolutely not saved and cannot be walking with God? Warning, Mt 15:14, it is written-THEY BE BLIND LEADERS OF THE BLIND. AND IF THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND, BOTH SHALL FALL INTO THE DITCH. They both shall perish.
    The Roman Catholic Church is just one of many cults that claim to be the true church. All anyone has to do is research the history of the church in the Dark Ages. They will be astonished at what they will find. The history of the church includes the murder of multitudes and unspeakable sin. Its doctrine and policies have changed so much over the years, but the Word of God never changes. Our recommendation is that if you want the truth, get into your Bible and read the Gospel of John three times, about 5 or more chapters a day. Then begin with Matthew and read through the entire New Testament including the Revelation. Always seek God in prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for understanding before reading. Put away preconceived thoughts and just read what the Bible says. You can see for yourself the practices of the Catholic Church and what you are reading in the Bible do not go together. Once you have done this and God has opened your understanding, you have but one choice.

    Nearly every item on this list can be shown to be contrary to God’s Word. If you want the truth our recommendation is to get into your Bible and read the Gospel of John three times, about 5 or more chapters a day. Then begin with Matthew and read through the entire New Testament including the Revelation. Follow that by reading the entire Bible, Genesis to the Revelation. Always seek God in prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for understanding before reading.
    The Roman Catholic Church for centuries banned the Bible from the laity, burned it, and persecuted those who loved it. Roman Catholics today are permitted to look upon Protestants as "separated brethren." Rome’s understanding of such things as grace, confession, regeneration, baptism, etc. is much different than that of a born-again Christian. They use the same terms, but their meaning is not the same. The seven means of saving grace contained in the Sacraments—Infant Baptism, First Communion, Mass, Confession, Marriage, Extreme Unction, and Ordination—have no true biblical authority.
     Jesus commands that the Revelation be taught in the church. It is written, I JESUS HAVE SENT MINE ANGEL TO TESTIFY UNTO YOU THESE THINGS IN THE CHURCHES-Rev 22:16. There is a special blessing for those that read and hear the Revelation-ref Rev 1:3. When was the last time any Catholic heard their priest teaching the entire Revelation? Some may make excuses and say it is only symbolism. To the blind or the unsaved, it may be only symbolism; however, to the born-again Christian it is an open book-ref Rev 22:10, one that can be understood. This is further confirmed as we read in Daniel, BUT THE WICKED WILL CONTINUE TO BE WICKED. NONE OF THE WICKED WILL UNDERSTAND, BUT THOSE WHO ARE WISE WILL UNDERSTAND-Dan 12:10 NIV. 1 Cor 2:14-BUT THE NATURAL MAN (or man without the Spirit-the unsaved) RECEIVETH NOT (or does not accept) THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD: FOR THEY ARE FOOLISHNESS UNTO HIM: NEITHER CAN HE KNOW (or understand) THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED.

    SHEPHERD’S CHAPEL   It is reported that they deny the Trinity, believing that the Father became the Son and became the Holy Spirit. Seems to follow aspects of British-Israelism as Armstrongism does—believing that America is from the lost tribes of Israel. Apparently believe that the unbelievers will cease to exist. They deny the existence of hell as well as the Rapture. Their intermixing of Biblical truth and error is done very skillfully. At the time this is being written, Shepherd’s Chapel is on many television stations, sounding biblical but deceiving many.

Asked how he knew it was Jesus, he replied: "I remembered him from his holy pictures and he said he was Jesus Christ. He requested me to help him in the salvation of the universe."
    UNITARIANISM   Denies the doctrine of the Trinity and the deity of Jesus Christ. Teaches Jesus Christ became the Son of God when he was baptized.
    UNITED APOSTOLIC CHURCH  (See United Pentecostals)
    UNITED PENTECOSTALS  (United Apostolic Church). It is reported that there are many other groups that follow this doctrine such as the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible Way Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ. These do not believe in one God manifested in three, eternally existing Persons. These baptize in the name of Jesus only. They skillfully use baptizing people in the name of Jesus as a come-on to deceive people, but seldom tell them initially that they baptize this way, because they don’t believe in the Trinity as the Bible teaches. They believe that God is one person who has revealed Himself as the Father, then as the Son, and presently as the Holy Spirit. In other words, Jesus is God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Denies the Son being with God-ref Jn 1:1, and that Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven-ref Mk 16:19 and Rev 5:7. They believe that baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus and administered by a "oneness" minister is a necessary part of salvation.     UNITY  (Unity School of Christianity. Dates back to the late 19th century). Reported to be a breakaway from Christian Science. The God they believe in is not the God of the Bible. They do not believe that God is a person but is life. He is all that is good. It may be said that God is whatever a person conceives him to be. Unity combines aspects of many religions. They do not believe in the Trinity or the purpose of Jesus’ death on the cross. The Jesus Christ that they believe in is not the Christ of the Bible. The Holy Spirit they believe in is not that of the Bible. They do not believe in Satan. They teach against the Bible, against Jesus and what He did. They believe in reincarnation and that sin can be erased from our conscience mind.
    UNIVERSALISM  A belief system that appears to think that everyone will be saved whether they believe on Jesus or not, because of God’s love. Many varied opinions among groups.
    URANTIA  They use a huge book called the Urantia Book (1934), which they believe came from high deity sources. They believe their book completes the New Testament, but in fact contradicts it. They do not believe Jesus Christ came in the flesh, but is just another person that gave revelations. Their understanding of the Trinity is not that of the Bible. They believe Jesus came to teach the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. They believe in reincarnation plus living on different planets.     In addition to the cults we have mentioned, there are thousands more of false ways or cults leading to eternal damnation. Some practice Satanism. Many worship devils. Many claim to be witches. Some practice ancestral worship. Some trust in the lie of reincarnation. Many readily accept the lie of evolution rather than the truth that God created all things; others try to combine them both together. New doctrines, devised by men and seducing spirits, seem to be springing up daily. Demonically inspired games are widely available in toy stores, game rooms, and for use on home computers. Demonic teaching can also be found in American schools, on the radio, and on television. Demonically inspired music fills the airwaves. Multitudes of people are being deceived. There are now homosexual churches where unrepentant, practicing homosexuals and lesbians actually believe they are Christians and will go to heaven and that the way they live is not even sin.
    Here is absolute proof from the Bible—any "so-called" religion that takes its teaching from the Bible plus another source is not of the true God of heaven of whom it is written, BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED-Col 1:16. They are not of Jesus Christ Who IS COME IN THE FLESH-ref 1 Jn 4:3; 2 Jn 7.
    Paul said in Gal 1:6-9-I MARVEL THAT YE ARE SO SOON REMOVED FROM HIM THAT CALLED YOU INTO THE GRACE OF CHRIST UNTO ANOTHER GOSPEL: WHICH IS NOT ANOTHER; BUT THERE BE SOME THAT TROUBLE YOU, AND WOULD PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. BUT THOUGH WE, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE PREACHED UNTO YOU, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. God’s Word clearly shows that additions, changes, or perversions to the Gospel are not from God. False teachers that do such things will indeed be accursed. AS WE SAID BEFORE, SO SAY I NOW AGAIN, IF ANY MAN PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT YE HAVE RECEIVED, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. Many cult leaders had demon spirits, false angels, visions, or dreams come to them. Afterward, they perverted God’s way or started some new way —a false religion that in some way distorted, discredited, added to, or took away from the Bible. Religions that have added such books as the Koran, the Book of Mormon, Roman Catholic doctrines, the writings of Ellen G. White, the Urantia Book, etc., have done exactly what Gal 1:6-9 warns not to do.
    It is written: Rev 22:18-19-…THE WORDS OF THE PROPHECY OF THIS BOOK, IF ANY MAN SHALL ADD UNTO THESE THINGS, GOD SHALL ADD UNTO HIM THE PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK: AND IF ANY MAN SHALL TAKE AWAY FROM THE WORDS OF THE BOOK OF THIS PROPHECY, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY HIS PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, AND OUT OF THE HOLY CITY, AND FROM THE THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK. The warning is clear. Do not add to or take away from the words of the book. That is exactly what religions do when they create a so-called "holy" book that adds to, discredits, or takes away anything that is in the Bible in any way. God has made it perfectly clear—they are accursed. Their part of the book of life is taken away.
    The Bible stands alone. It is not the Bible + any other book. It is not the Bible plus any other teaching, even from a so-called prophet, apostle, or even an ANGEL FROM HEAVEN.
    It is written: 2 Pe 1:20,21-KNOWING THIS FIRST, THAT NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. FOR THE PROPHECY CAME NOT IN OLD TIME BY THE WILL OF MAN: BUT HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE AS THEY WERE MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST.
    2 Tim 3:16-ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD. This is not a theory. This is law. It is only disputed in the minds of depraved people.
The Bible contains thousands of prophecies. Everyone, without one single exception, has come to pass in its time just as it was written. This even includes the rebirth of Israel which happened exactly as the Bible said it would. No book in the world has ever come remotely close to this. None of the wicked shall understand-ref Dan 12:10.
    Those that understand spiritual warfare should understand the following. Briefly—first comes the real thing. Then comes the deception from Satan. God’s Word came to Adam. Then the deception followed from Satan to Eve. God’s Word came to Noah. He obeyed God. After the flood, Satan’s temptations came forth and new religions sprang up and again men turned from God. God’s Word came to Moses. Then Satan moved in and tempted the people, they turned away from God. Finally, God sent His only begotten Son. With the final writing of the Revelation by John, the books of the Bible were completed. They were finished. Since that time, many false teachings that add to, change, discredit, or take away from the Holy Bible have appeared. If you have read this article you can never say at the judgment you did not know.

    ISLAM.   The teachings of the Bible plus Muhammad and the Koran. Incidentally, there are various Islamic groups, each believing their way is right.
    JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES.   The teachings of the Bible plus Charles Russell and other sources.MORMONISM. The teachings of the Bible plus the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith.
    ROMAN CATHOLIC.   The teachings of the Bible plus traditions and the Pope.
    SCIENTOLOGY.   The teachings of the Bible plus L. Ron Hubbard.
    SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST.   The teachings of the Bible plus Ellen G. White.
    SWEDENBORGIANISM.   The teachings of the Bible plus Emanuel Swedenborg.
    THE FARM.   The teachings of the Bible plus Stephen Gaskin.
    THE WAY INTERNATIONAL.   The teachings of the Bible plus Victor Paul Wierwille.
    UNIFICATION CHURCH.   The teachings of the Bible plus Sun Myung Moon.
    URANTIA.   The teachings of the Bible plus the Urantia Book.
    The list could go on and on. The people engaged in each of these false religions usually believe they are absolutely right and everyone else is wrong. The founders of most of these believe God, or Jesus Christ, or the Angel Gabriel, or Moses, or whatever appeared to them. Some had a dream, or a vision that convinced them they were right and all others wrong. These people were inspired, but not by the Holy Spirit. It was not the inspiration of God. It is written: Jn 10:1-VERILY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO YOU, HE THAT ENTERETH NOT BY THE DOOR INTO THE SHEEPFOLD, BUT CLIMBETH UP SOME OTHER WAY, THE SAME IS A THIEF AND A ROBBER. Any religion that tries to enter heaven by any other way than what is written in the Bible (and the Bible alone), the same is false. Ro 3:4-…LET GOD BE TRUE, BUT EVERY MAN A LIAR.

17-WHAT GOSPEL AND WHAT JESUS DO THEY BELIEVE IN?

    What God do they believe in? Is it the God of the Bible or a god they have created in their own imagination?
As we have seen from what cults believe, when a person says they believe on Jesus Christ, we then have to ask—which Jesus do they believe in? Is it the Jesus of the Bible, that is, Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, Jesus Christ is Lord, God’s only begotten Son, who was born of a virgin, who created all things, and always was and always shall be. Or is it the Jesus of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, or of the Mormons, or of the New Age, or of Islam, or some other Jesus that a person conceived in his thoughts? Do they believe the Word of God—that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, that He rose from the dead, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for the saints?
    And what Gospel do they believe in? Is it the gospel of the Mormons or Joseph Smith, the gospel of Mary Baker Eddy, the gospel of Ellen G. White, or yet another gospel? Is it the Bible plus other books, traditions, or other so-called prophets, apostles, or a person’s own ideas?
    Do the believe in one God manifested in three, eternally existing Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit?
    Do they believe Heb 9:27-IT IS APPOINTED UNTO MEN ONCE TO DIE, BUT AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT. This verse and many others eliminate reincarnation and many other false cult doctrines.
    Do they believe what Jesus said: Jn 14:6-I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME.
    Do they believe in a literal hell? Lk 16:23-IN HELL, HE LIFT UP HIS EYES, BEING IN TORMENTS; v. 28-PLACE OF TORMENT; Mt 25:41-EVERLASTING FIRE.
    Do they believe that Eph 2:8-9-FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.
    Do they believe it is a command to be baptized, but only after one accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and repents? Do they believe that water baptism is by full immersion and is to be done in the name of the FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST?-ref Mt 28:19?
    Do they believe that all have sinned and one needs to repent?
    If these things are not in place, find a church that teaches and believes the Word of God apart from traditions that lead a person astray.

18-TRUE SALVATION

    The list can also include "spiritually dead" churches and any church that does not believe and teach the following: FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST. FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS UNTO GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD HATH BEFORE ORDAINED THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM-Eph 2:8-10.

19-HOMOSEXUALS AND LESBIANS

Very few people’s fruits, love of the brethren, and obedience to God’s Word testify that they have the Spirit of God. Very few people in this generation have made Jesus the center of their life.

24-THE STRAIT GATE AND NARROW WAY

    Mt 7:13-14-ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR WIDE IS THE GATE, AND BROAD IS THE WAY, THAT LEADETH TO DESTRUCTION, AND MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN THEREAT: BECAUSE STRAIT IS THE GATE, AND NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE, AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT.

25-MANY POSITIVE THEY ARE SAVED BUT ARE NOT

27-SURVEYS

    The authorship of the following surveys, which were done in the 1970’s and 80’s to our knowledge, has been lost. Undoubtedly, the statistics today would be far worse than when these were taken. Nevertheless, the information is shocking. Indeed, there are many blind leaders of the blind and both are falling into the ditch. Many are wolves in sheep’s clothing. What does your minister, priest, rabbi, elders, or bishops believe? You have a need to know. Eternity could be at stake. It makes no difference how much education your pastor has. If he does not believe: the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the fundamentals of the Faith, and is not born-again, get out of that church, even if it is a multimillion dollar building.
     Surveys, to our knowledge, were of lay people unless otherwise specified. None of the following churches are considered cults, except the Roman Catholic.

28-MORE GUIDELINES ON WHAT CHURCHES TO RUN FROM

    Another guideline is to make sure the church is not a member of the National Council of Churches, (N.C.C.) or the World Council of Churches. If it is, run from it.
    If your church does not believe that the whole Bible is the perfect Word of God, run from it.
    If your church does not believe that Jesus Christ is God, run from it.
    If your church does not believe and confess that Jesus is the Christ, Who came to this earth in the flesh, as in 1 Jn 4:2,3, and 2 Jn 7, run from it.
    If you go to any church that teaches "it" is the "only" way, run from that church. No church saves anyone. It is faith in the name and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
    Any church that teaches the worship of the virgin Mary, run from it.
    Any church that teaches to pray to dead saints, run from it.
    Any church that practices ancestor worship, or condones the practice of it by others, run from it.
    Any church that uses astrology in any way, run away fast.
    Any church that prays in any name other than Jesus Christ, run from it.
    Any church that consults the dead, flee from that church.
    Any church that uses any kind of trinkets, idols, or any objects for worship, get away from that church. Jesus Christ is the only way.
    Any church that does not believe in ONE GOD, manifested in three Persons, God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, run from them. This is covered in more detail under doctrines—The Trinity.
    Any church that does not teach the whole Bible, get away from it. For example, some churches may preach only the Epistles, and others only the Psalms or Proverbs. Some may only teach the Old Testament; while others may only teach the four Gospels. Some may not teach the Bible at all. Run from all of these.
    Some claim to be Christian, and great healings appear to take place; but the healings are not done in the name of Jesus, or the healings deceive people and lead them away from Jesus. Run from these.
    Watch out for churches that are only ceremonies and for those that do not encourage you to bring your Bible to the service. Run from these, and don’t look back.
    Some churches sing, and sing, and sing, and there is very little instruction from God’s Word. Run from these.
    If the church does not emphasize repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, leave that church.
    Leave any church where the teaching relies on the Bible + the teaching of some so-called prophet, or relies on the Bible plus some other book.
    Any church that claims their leader is infallible, get away from it.
    Any church that does not believe in a literal hell, the Great White Throne Judgment for unbelievers and the second death (that is the lake of fire), get away from it.
    Beware of churches that speak evil of government or those in authority. The Bible clearly warns against these.
    Beware of any churches that are used as political arenas. Get away from them.
    Beware of any church whose leader is living in fornication, adultery or has more than one wife. Flee from that church. In some countries, perhaps as much as 80% of the "so-called" Christian preachers are not married, but are simply living with someone according to tribal or national traditions.
    Beware of any preacher that has an attitude of "I am great. I have many churches. I am something special. I am the secretary or treasurer" or whatever. This is not the attitude of Christ. This does not display the fruits of the Spirit or a repentant, humble attitude. A person that is close to God should have an attitude of humility, brokenness, and meekness. The attitude we should have is to be a SERVANT OF ALL-Mk 9:35. Mt 20:27-AND WHOSOEVER WILL BE CHIEF AMONG YOU, LET HIM BE YOUR SERVANT. Ja 4:6-WHEREFORE HE SAITH, GOD RESISTETH THE PROUD, BUT GIVETH GRACE UNTO THE HUMBLE.
    Beware of any church whose leader claims to be an apostle or some great prophet of God. This is not the attitude of humility, meekness, and the fruits you are to follow. Mt 24, Lk 21, Mk 13, and Jeremiah all show clearly that in this age there are many false prophets. If you know and understand the Scriptures, then you know these things are true.
    There are some good, born-again preachers and many that are not born-again that don’t believe the Rapture comes before the Tribulation. See the Rapture for details.
    If they do not believe the Rapture will take place at all, run from it.
    Water baptism is to be done only after a person repents and believes in Jesus Christ as their only hope of salvation. When it is done, it is to be by full immersion and done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. If you go to a church that does sprinkling baptism, infant baptism, or baptizes in another name, leave.
    Warning: if your preacher does not believe in teaching Bible prophecy, the Revelation, that Jesus Christ may soon return, and that we are to watch and be ready, run from that church. Something is not right there.
    Beware of any preacher that does not love the brethren, but has a contentious and accusing attitude toward true born-again men of God. This is not to be confused with the legitimate exposing of doctrinal error within the body of Christ.
    Be warned, even though some preachers may have many college degrees, this is no guarantee that he is walking with God.
    Only Jesus can save…a religion cannot.

29-SATAN’S WORDS

    If you have witnessed to many people lately, you may have heard some of the following statements. These are some of the things Satan may say through someone you are witnessing to, whether in the USA or anywhere in the world.

30-ONE WAY TO WITNESS TO CULTS AS WELL AS TO OTHERS

    For those that say they are a good person, use the Ten Commandments. Ro 3:20-FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN. Ask the person do they sin? Ask them have they ever told a lie? Have they ever stolen anything? Have they ever cursed using God’s name? Have they ever looked on a woman to lust after her—thus committing adultery already with her in their heart? Once they admit they have done some of these things AND ARE CONVICTED BY THE LAW AS TRANSGRESSORS-Ja 2:9 NASB, then bring forth the only hope they have for entering heaven and having their sins forgiven—the Lord Jesus Christ. Use Scripture as much as possible.

31-LOVE ONE ANOTHER

    It is written: Ro 13:10-LOVE WORKETH NO ILL TO HIS NEIGHBOUR: THEREFORE LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.
    Jn 5:42-BUT I KNOW YOU, THAT YE HAVE NOT THE LOVE OF GOD IN YOU.
    Jn 13:34, 35-A NEW COMMANDMENT I GIVE UNTO YOU, THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, THAT YE ALSO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YE ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER.
    Jn 15:17-THESE THINGS I COMMAND YOU, THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
    Ro 5:5-AND HOPE MAKETH NOT ASHAMED; BECAUSE THE LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS BY THE HOLY GHOST WHICH IS GIVEN UNTO US.
    Gal 5:6-FOR IN JESUS CHRIST NEITHER CIRCUMCISION AVAILETH ANY THING, NOR UNCIRCUMCISION; BUT FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE.
    1 Pe 1:22-SEEING YE HAVE PURIFIED YOUR SOULS IN OBEYING THE TRUTH THROUGH THE SPIRIT UNTO UNFEIGNED LOVE OF THE BRETHREN, SEE THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER WITH A PURE HEART FERVENTLY.
    1 Pe 2:17-HONOUR ALL MEN. LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD. FEAR GOD. HONOUR THE KING.
    1 Jn 3:11-FOR THIS IS THE MESSAGE THAT YE HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, THAT WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
    1 Jn 3:14-WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE (or we know we have passed from being unsaved to saved) , BECAUSE WE LOVE THE BRETHREN. HE THAT LOVETH NOT HIS BROTHER ABIDETH IN DEATH (or is unsaved).
    1 Jn 3:16-HEREBY PERCEIVE WE THE LOVE OF GOD, BECAUSE HE LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US: AND WE OUGHT TO LAY DOWN OUR LIVES FOR THE BRETHREN.
